Eventful races at Aston

The penultimate race-evening of the NL.LFS.2 season was the first with 6 RDR drivers lining up for the start. q0_TheJag managed to qualify 4th, smashing his PB in those all-important 15 minutes. q0_Bob was further along to the back of the grid, and q0_Sek, q0_Lemans, q0_Rme and q0_Kinetic started on server 2.

RDR on a signing spree

It's been wild at RDR the last few weeks. With q0_Sek and q0_LeMans quickly following q0_Rayman in joining our team we're pleased to announce more members still!

Seasoned NL.LFS driver Martin "Rme" Elberts and real life karting champion Jack "Kinetic" Swinkels have decided to sign up and will be driving with start numbers 33 and 04, respectively.

We at Rubber Ducky Racing would like to welcome q0_Rme and q0_Kinetic to the team and hope they'll have a fun and succesful time racing with us. Their brand new skins are of course available for download here.

By the way... Rumour has it RDR has signed yet another racer to join after the current NL.LFS season... So stay tuned!

Preview Aston National

For the second time this season the NL.LFS.2 league heads to Aston for round 8 of the championship. This time the Aston National configuration is used together with the Formula XR. Testing results indicate a close field for next race as laptimes are within tenths of each other. This will guarantee a lot of close racing, something the Aston spectators will definately appreciate.

Vincent Staal clinched the championship already for the second time in a row at the Kyoto Ring last round. However, nothing is decided yet for the runners up. Ramon Blauwhoff and Jeroen van den Berg are close together with only 8 points difference. RDR is still firmly third in the team standings. In the drivers standings q0_TheJAG and q0_Bob are 7th and 8th. RDR Lemans can be found at place 15. Bothe drivers, q0_Sek and q0_Lemans, are 26th and 29th respectively in the drivers standings.

RDR lacks consistency at Kyoto

Despite a good starting position, last thursday's NL.LFS race at Kyoto National ended in a somewhat mediocre result for Rubber Ducky Racing. q0_TheJag had managed to put in a great qualifying lap, putting him 4th on the grid, while q0_Bob and q0_Sek had to settle for p10 and p19, respectively...

Preview Kyoto Ring National

The Dutch NL.LFS.2 league heads for Japan where the Kyoto Ring will be the host for another exciting race. A full grid of the agile LX4's will thunder down the bankings of the oval and through the twisty innersection of the National circuit. And for the first time in its short history, Rubber Ducky Racing will bring two teams to the start! Team RDR Lemans did exist as TLMR already in the league, but after their teamchange, both cousins will drive their first race for RDR here. We at RDR wish them all the luck!

RDR is still firmly third in the standings where q0_Bob is 6th followed closely by q0_TheJAG at place 8th. Team RDR Lemans can be found a bit further down the list but both drivers are determined to gain a few places here in Japan.
