Another 2 new members!

After q0_Rayman's application earlier this week, RDR was pleasantly surprised by 2 more applications.

Cousins Jeroen "q0_Sek" Lemans and Kevin "q0_Lemans" Lemans are currently competing in the NL.LFS.2 championship as Team Lemans Racing, but decided they needed a team to train with and to teach them a few tricks. RDR is happy to provide the company, and so we hereby welcome them as our youngest members!

Jeroen's skins (pink-black) are all done and Kevin's (brown-black) are underway. The downloads section and other parts of the site will be updated shortly, not only with these new additions, but also with some personal info on all the members.

Update: All new skins are now available in the downloads section!

Rayman joins RDR!

Rubber Ducky Racing is thrilled to welcome its third member: Raymond Voorhout, aka q0_Rayman.

Rayman has been trashing around the demo servers for a while and recently got an S2 license. Being new, we hope he'll learn quickly while racing with our team.

As you may know, every team member gets his own personal skin at RDR and Rayman is no different. As can be seen above, he will be recognisable by a green band and blue, DAF-sponsord rear wing. We used the opportunity to tweak the rest of the skins a little aswell. The new skin-pack is available in the downloads section.

RDR performs well in LXs

This week's installment of the NL.LFS league brought the pack to sunny Jamaica for some thrashing around Fern Bay Gold in the LX4. Apparently this was such a daunting prospect that a lot of drivers didn't show up. RDR was there though, and with q0_Bob qualifying an unexpected 4th and q0_TheJAG on 7th this one was looking to turn out wel for the team.

Mixed results at Blackwood

What's wrong with this picture? The chaos of tonight's double-race format has brought RDR some mixed results.

Both q0_Bob and q0_TheJAG qualified on server 1, but started a bit too far back for their liking (11th and 12th, respectively). The first few corners saw some professional, clean racing but Bob went into the final hairpin of lap 1 a bit too enthousiastically and ended up facing the wrong way... He managed to regain 11th place during this 7 lap sprint race, but TheJAG unfortunately flipped his car going over some curbs too fast and didn't finish the race.

Preview Blackwood GP reversed

A raceweekend is never the same and this certainly applies for this round of the NL.LFS.2 league! The venue is the Blackwood Grand Prix reversed configuration, the car of choice is the GTi. Instead of the usual one hour race we'll be running two races here. The first race will be a sprintrace over 7 laps. The feature race will be a long 34 lapper. To make it even more interesting, the grid in the feature race is formed by reversing the finishing order of the sprintrace. Without doubt, the Blackwood crowd will be in for a real treat this raceweekend!

We're almost halfway down the league. With five races to go the team is still looking strong in the standings. At this moment we're trailing Ocrana.ATI racing and 1ST|Pink. The latter is a new team to LFS.NL.2 consisting out of former teamnic drivers Roy Diederen en Thomas Arends who recently joined 1st racing. In the driver standing q0_TheJAG and q0_Bob take the 5th and 8th spot respectively. Both drivers are determined to gain a few spots this weekend, the pressure is on!
