Yesterday saw the last installment in the NL.LFS.3 championship, a 2 hour team race deciding whether RDR or XPower took home the team cup.

But it wasn't meant to be. After Bob just missing out on the FWD Cup and Michiel losing his top spot in the standings due to a disconnect, even more bad luck led to them finishing just one second behind XPower driver Johnny Koning in this exhilarating race.
Michiel managed to take the lead in the first lap, but was shunted off in the first turn of lap 2, losing RDR almost a minute. But our two-stop strategy turned out to be fastest. Both drivers put in a steady pace, but in the end, we came out one second short.

So it's on to the next season then. Hopefully, RDR's quick and usually consistent driving will land us an actual cup then ;-).
