NL.LFS.4 Kick Off !!

That's right, it's the fourth installment already of the popular Dutch LFS racing series. And team Rubber Ducky Racing is going to participate again! But not without some changes to last season. A new sponsor means an updated paintscheme for our cars which will be revealed shortly. And we have some fresh blood in the team, Tom Notten (battle) will strengthen our team this year. The line-up:

RDR Red - Bob van Vliet, Michiel Jagersma

RDR Blue - Martin Elberts, Tom Notten

RDR Yellow - Tim Borst, André Nauta

Bob and Michiel miss out... Again.

Yesterday saw the last installment in the NL.LFS.3 championship, a 2 hour team race deciding whether RDR or XPower took home the team cup.

But it wasn't meant to be. After Bob just missing out on the FWD Cup and Michiel losing his top spot in the standings due to a disconnect, even more bad luck led to them finishing just one second behind XPower driver Johnny Koning in this exhilarating race.
Bob van Vliet second in NL.LFS.3!

This weeks race brought the NL.LFS pack to Kyoto National. This race would conclude the drivers championship. Even though one event is still ahead, a two hour teamrace at Aston Historic, this race will only be part of the team championship. In the end, Bob van Vliet finishes fifth in the race and finds himself second in the final standings! Michiel Jagersma finishes second in the race which results in a final fifth spot.

RDR grabs top spots at Aston!

This weeks race brought the NL.LFS.3 pack to Aston for a 54 laps race at the Club configuration. The tactics involved in this race proved an excellent ground for a succesfull event for RDR. Michiel Jagersma grabbed top spot, Bob van Vliet came in second, this meant the second 1-2 in the short history for RDR! And another podium for RDR in server two where Martin Elberts finished in third position! As a result, RDR is doing great in the standings. Both 'RDR Red' drivers and Johnny Koning are close together in the individual standings. As a team, 'RDR Red' leads by quite a margin and is determined to keep it that way in the remainder of the season!

TheJag takes Blackwood!

The final race in the NL.LFS.3 FWD Cup promised to be a close and exciting one, with the first 12 qualifiers withing 8 tenths of a second. And boy, did it deliver. In the end, RDR managed to scoop up 1st and 3rd place in the server 1 main race!

For the standings, this means that q0_TheJag and q0_Bob currently share 2nd place in the drivers' championship, but hold on to the lead for the teams!

Feel free to drop in on our forum to discuss this post.

With all our recent new members, there was a lot of skinning to do... and it's all done! q0_KD, q0_Venox and newest addition q0_Ren-alt-130 now have their own personal skins to race with and in the process, q0_Kinetic got a new rear wing aswell.

Check out the skins in our downloads section or drop us a line at our forum!

TheJAG takes the championship!

Yesterday, the 4th and last race in the RDR XFR Summercup took us to the challenging Fern Bay Gold Reversed. The championship was still wide open at the start with q0_TheJag and q0_Bob tied for first place in the standings, but with TheJag having the home advantage this race everybody was expecting him to take the win.
New winner in RDR Summercup

The third round of our team championship brought us to Westhill. Driving the reversed configuration made this sweeping track rather challenging in de front wheel driven XFR.

After q0_TheJag and q0_Bob bot clinched a double in the previous races, relative newcomer q0_Kinetic convincingly won the sprint race yesterday!

Summerleague 2006, race 2!

The second installment of the RDR XF GTR Summerleague 2006 brought the drivers to Aston National. A familiar track for most drivers who were able to put down some quick laps fast in the qualifying session. Pole position looked like a done case for q0_TheJAG, but q0_Bob grabbed it with only seconds to go!
RDR XF GTR Summerleague on it's way!

The first of four events of the RDR summerleague brought the RDR drivers to Fern Bay. The reversed version of the Green circuit posed quite a challenge for the drivers and their XF GTR's. A very technical circuit with a few chicanes and twisty corners which can quite easily upset the car. The drivers had one hour to practice and qualify on this circuit which was chosen by q0_Rme and the latest addition to RDR, q0_KD (André Nauta). They had the home advantage this time round, something every driver will have ultimately.

Today saw the latest installment of the ATC 60 lap GP, this time taking the familiar XFG GTRs to Blackwood. q0_Bob got his chance to shine and 80 minutes of fighting for every position, some technical trouble and one kick-ass overtaking manouvre later he managed to scoop up a nice 3rd position.

Guess what q0_TheJAG and q0_Kinetic are doing in this picture?

They're driving a victory lap!!! TheJag managed to scoop up the first ever NL.LFS win for RDR, while newcomer Kinetic surprised friend and foe by complementing the podium with a well-earned 2nd place in the last race of the NL.LFS.2 season at Kyoto GP.
